>$4m raised through employee led SPVs to date. So far, process has been seamless and relatively low time cost for all parties. Happy to go into more detail if helpful
Apologies, a SPV (special purpose vehicle) is effectively a single use VC fund that is created to purchase a single asset and is funded completely upfront. In comparison a standard VC fund targets the purchase of multiple assets and calls capital from investors as opportunities arise.
Thank you. The difference is we allow individual users to invest together in a property, we don't necessarily own the properties instead we facilitate the investment process.
Cool thing about these roles is they're a killer combo of skills - best way to understand product-mkt fit is to talk to customers and truly listen to what they want (and what they need).
Great question! The US immigration landscape is...challenging. I tried to build something to help with US permanent residency a few years ago: https://youtu.be/kL1KkjEWkCA
If you (or anyone else) would like to collaborate on the US, please contact me at hm788 at protonmail dot com and I'll add you to the airtable.
Thanks! I'm also investigating and adding information for Asia and Latin America based programs as well.
The ideal situation I imagine would be to secure a permanent residency/citizenship track freelancer/self-employed/ startup visa for each major region with the visas allowing access to other countries in the regions (Schengen zone for German/Swedish/Estonian visas, etc.)
