How long did this take to write? It is rather reminiscent of War and Peace, in that it's undoubtedly an impressive work, but there is no way i am going to read it.
That's a shame. Really good long form writing is often well worth your time. Although this particular piece had some grammar issues that reduced it's quality but the content was still enjoyable.
