Ask HN: Which search engine do you use, and why?
I used Yahoo! in the earliest days. Then I tried HOTBOT. Then it was Altavista, and it’s Raging derivative as soon as it launched in 2000 or thereabouts. I’ve used Google almost exclusively since 2001.
