I watched the original expose video of this and I found the comments be disturbing, but I don't expect any platform to perfectly prevent comments. The more damning part for YouTube was how the recommendation engine was clustering the videos based on pedo preferences and automatically creating little pedo playlists. To me, that is their bigger fault as a platform is that they are built on automatically giving people more of what they like. Even pedos.
