This thread is filled with "So what!?" imo.

Like this part:

   "and we further subdivide the months into 'weeks', which is 7 days."
   "ahh, so each month is an integer multiple of weeks?"
   "that would make sense, but no. Only one is, sometimes"
   "SOMETIMES?!"
