Not that it was ever in question, but it's clear these cuts are not about "reducing waste" but "reducing regulatory burdens on large corporations who funded Trump's campaign".

The effects of this won't be felt immediately by the average American, leading some people to think "see, nothing happened!". But they will be felt.

Sad times.



We live in an oligopoly now. One man has enough money to purchase the president and threaten congress and the senate with unlimited support for their opponent at the next election. The country belongs to the rich and I can't see a peaceful way out of it.


Please. That's reductionist. Like saying that weapons shipments to Ukraine weren't about defending democracy but providing large bonuses to Lockheed Martin and Raytheon executives who funded Biden's campaign.
