Did I miss the part where Musk was the winning bid on a contract from the Pentagon?

These are two guys who would have no power as soon as money went away. Did they miss that part of society in Star Trek. The federation is socialist.

It’s not so much socialist as a post scarcity, science centric, egalitarian meritocracy.

To some people those words mean the same thing but to most they do not.
